John Dougan founded Valor Companies with a clear mission: bring military discipline and over two decades of construction expertise to federal projects across South Dakota.
A 20-year veteran of the South Dakota Army National Guard, John brings the same commitment to precision, accountability, and mission completion that defined his military career. His experience spans commercial and industrial construction — from pre-construction planning and construction management to HVAC commissioning and general contracting.
John holds a Master Mechanical License from the State of South Dakota and is a LEED Green Building Accredited Professional. He earned his degree in Business Administration from Dakota State University.
